Workshop at Quiltique

I recently had the most wonderful time teaching at the quilt shop Quiltique. The shop is located just outside of Las Vegas in Henderson, Nevada. As I entered Quiltique, I was welcomed with an explosion of color from all the fabric, samples, kits, thread, etc. Definitely put this shop on your list to visit.
Twelve students attended class. They picked their favorite Lunch Box Quilts pattern that they wanted to make. The About Trout pattern and the new Fancy Feather pattern were the most popular in this class. As you can see the ladies were very productive, making multiple blocks. There were so many blocks we couldn’t get them all on the felt board.
The winner of the Havel’s workshop scissors was Honey. She won a pair of Havel’s 4-½" curved embroidery scissors. Honey was very excited to be the winner!
