Contest Rules

Prizes
- First Place will be awarded to the winner of each category. Lunch Box Quilts reserves the right to award or not award the Second and Third Place prizes based on the quantity and quality of the entries in each of the categories.
  - First Place
    $100.00 Gift Certificate to the Quilt/ Sewing/ Embroidery Shop of winners choice and a basket full of goodies from our sponsors
  - Second Place
    $50.00 Gift Certificate to the Quilt/ Sewing/ Embroidery Shop of winners choice and a basket full of goodies from our sponsors
  - Third Place
    $25.00 Gift Certificate to the Quilt/ Sewing/ Embroidery Shop of winners choice and a basket full of goodies from our sponsors
Categories and Definitions
- Quilts, Wall Hangings, Table Runners
  - Quilt of any size made using embroidery appliqué designs from any pattern manufactured by Lunch Box Quilts, LLC
- Everything Else
  - Any other item made using embroidery appliqué designs from any pattern manufactured by Lunch Box Quilts, LLC. Example of such items are purses, bags, dish towels, clothing, place mats, etc.
Eligibility
- Only those submissions made online through the submission page will be accepted. Submissions that are mailed or delivered in any way other than online will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.
- Submissions that did not utilize Lunch Box Quilts, LLC products or whose incorporation into the project is not readily apparent will not be accepted
- All quilters and sewers from around the globe are eligible to enter and will be awarded prizes regardless of professional status.
- Void where prohibited by law.
Timeline
- April 15, 2012, Midnight MST Entries must be received via electronic submission
- May 4, 2012 Winners of all awards will be notified via email
- May 11, 2012 Winners items must be received at Lunch Box Quilts, LLC main offices
- May 18 -20, 2012 Winners items may be displayed at International Quilt Market – Spring, Kansas City, MO in Lunch Box Quilts Booth (Wholesale Only Show)
- May 25, 2012 Winners items will be returned via UPS
Miscellaneous
- All decisions of the Jury and Judges will be final.
- Selection of the Judges and Jury will be made by Lunch Box Quilts, LLC.
- Limit two (2) entries per person. Two entries can be made in the same category if desired.
- Images become the property of Lunch Box Quilts, LLC for use in publicity, advertising, and publication.
- All entries must be constructed and quilted by the persons named on the entry form
- Late entries will not be accepted
- Winners agree to make the physical entry item available during the above timeline for display in the Lunch Box Quilts, LLC Booth at International Quilt Market – Spring in Kansas City, MO
- Lunch Box Quilts, LLC will be responsible for any and all shipping costs associated with the display of the winning item
- Lunch Box Quilts, LLC will make the final decision as to how, when and which winning items (if any) are displayed
- Winners agree that no other compensation or inducement besides the prizes listed above will be made in exchange for the display of the winning item or the use of any submitted images for the purpose of advertising and promotion of Lunch Box Quilts, LLC
